Page path level 1 in content drilldown shows directory with url name 0 Recommended Answers 5 Replies 3 Upvotes

Looking under behaviour - site content - content drilldown I can see under path level 1 instead of simply showing / for my home page, it appears to list a directory that repeats my url without the tld, so /proximowebdesign/ this means data looks to be duplicated and hard to read, I get data for other pages as both /about-us and /proximowebdesign/about-us. I If I click into /proximowebdesign/ it shows me my main pages as page path level 2 underneath it, including /. However my main pages are also listed underneath it seperately as page path level 1 in their own right.

I have no filters running, I created a new view to see if that would resolve it it didn't. I am using content security policy headers which means I include ga code from an external file but I am doing this on other websites and they are not showing this issue in analytics.

I rarely ask for help but I am stumped! Any idea as to whether this is expected behaviour or how to put the data together? Thank you! Hilary

Looking at just the data from today it appears to be resolved to 'normal' directory structure again, the only change I made that could have resolved it was changing the default url to https after a recent move from http. Perhaps because that default url was set to http but the website was https that directory structure resulted. If it holds by end of day I would be hopeful the directory structure is right again, fingers crossed!

I am also facing the similar issue.
In the content drill down, page path level 1 is the domain name and all the related pages are tracked inside the domain name. Can someone help me with this?
