We have 3 domains and 3 GA for these websites. (1 is umbrella company and 2-3 are branch offices)

We are developing new website and there will be only one domain and one GA. What would you recommend?

- Using a new GA property after website changed? (Domain will stay same but sub page URLs will be new)
- Using one of the existing GA properties?

Thanks  Nimesh, your answer was very helpful. We will continue with passing one of the properties to the new website.

I Would continue using the same property. At most create an additional clean view in case your users find it confusing having old and new data in the same view.

He Selim,

This in entirely up to what business goals you have. So if the data in the 3 GA properties are not going to measure the same goals, or will be different than your new one than you might want to create a new one.

But  most of the time the end goal would be to have as much of your website data in one GA account with one property that has historical data. This will make reporting for past and future easier. Keeping in mind that you might have to migrate GA accounts and have to overwrite old goals. making a measurement plan is the way to go!
