Hello fellow members,
i would like to know if it is in fact possible to have the heat-map function show the click metrics on a list of documents that are inside an accordion?
we initially noticed an anomaly where one page showed lots of clicks on a list of documents, however a similar page count was low. we determined it was because those documents were placed inside an accordion, the heat-map couldn't show the metrics when expanded.
i believe this is because the analytics.js doesn't go below the top level of the web page? can it be scripted otherwise?
therefore as these documents are one level below and are inside the accordion it wont show the metrics / heat-map.
the accordion themselves show the heat-map so we know people are going inside the accordion, unfortunately unless we search the document download events, we cannot know quickly which documents were clicked the most under the accordion.
i would like to know if there are any solutions for this requirement?
