  • Provides a user-level or session-level view of your data.
  • Includes the option to implement User-ID to deduplicate users.
  • Includes the option to activate Google signals to enhance remarketing and reporting.

What is the Apps option?

The Apps measurement option

  • Integrates Machine Learning Intelligence to automatically surface insights and anomalies.

To implement the App option, follow these instructions.

What is the Apps and web option?

The Apps and web option

  • Combines app and web data into a single property. You can compare screen and page usage and see realtime data across app and web.
  • Replaces Google Analytics mobile-apps reporting based on the Google Analytics Services SDKs for Android and iOS.
  • Uses the same events for both app and web.
  • Provides a cross-platform, user-centric view of your data.
  • Lets you apply comparisons to reports (e.g., Android, iOS, and/or Web). Compare device usage (e.g., traffic from mobile, tablet, and desktop), and see which app versions, OS, and browsers are used most often.
  • Includes the option to implement User-ID to deduplicate users and provide a cross-device, cross-platform view of your data.
  • Lets you enable automatic measurement for additional events beyond page views (e.g., video interactions and page scrolls) from the UI, with no code or instrumentation changes needed. You can also leverage existing global-site-tag implementations to send web hits to this property.
  • Integrates Machine Learning Intelligence to automatically surface insights and anomalies.

To implement the App + Web option, follow these instructions.
