As of June 28, 2016, Google is inviting people with a Google Account to review new settings that give them more control over the data Google collects about their web and app activity. This change creates a better experience for people across Google services and our partner websites and apps. It also means that advertisers will be able to offer people more relevant ads, helping publishers earn more over time as Google ads become more valuable for everyone.
At this time, these settings have no effect on Google Analytics product capabilities, terms of service, privacy policy, data security, or data sharing policies. Google Analytics data remains separate from Google Account data. If this changes, we will notify Google Analytics users and, if appropriate, provide additional controls over any new product capabilities.
