About Google Ad Manager 

Google Ad Manager is a comprehensive, hosted ad serving platform that streamlines your ad management, whether you deliver ads to websites, mobile web pages, mobile apps, games, or a combination. NOTE: Multiple Doubleclick for Publishers (DFP) networks can be linked to a single Google Analytics property.

Preflight checklist

To see Google Ad Manager reports in Analytics, the following criteria must be met:
  1. You have an Analytics 360 account.
  2. You have an Ad Manager 360 account.
  3. The majority of tags on your site are Google Publisher Tags (GPT).
  4. Select a user who will be an administrator of both Ad Manager and Analytics 360.

Prepare your application

To proceed, you must be an admin of both Google Ad Manager and Analytics 360, and you need:
  1. Legal name of the Analytics 360 customer.
  2. The email address of your Analytics 360 account manager at Google.
  3. The Analytics 360 web property name (e.g., www.example.com).
  4. The Analytics 360 property ID (e.g., UA-XXXXXX-Y).
  5. The ID(s) of the Analytics View(s) where you want to see Google Ad Manager reports.
  6. Your Ad Manager Network ID.

Enroll in the integration

To integrate Analytics 360 with Ad Manager, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Analytics 360 account.
  2. Click ? to open product help.
  3. Under Contact Us, click Need more help?.
  4. Click Other issues, then select Email support.
  5. Under "Issue Type," choose "Google Ads Manager Linking" and answer the questions.

Once approved, you can enable the Analytics Data Sharing setting in Google Ad Manager > Admin > All network settings.

Viewing your Google Ad Manager reports

Once you’ve completed the steps above, you’ll be able to see Google Ad Manager data in Analytics. Simply log into your GA account and you’ll find the reports under Behavior > Publisher. The Google Ad Manager reports article includes definitions of the metrics you’ll see and examples of the new reports that you’ll find in Analytics.
