[GA4] Realtime pages report

The Realtime pages report lets you view the pages your users are currently viewing and the number of users viewing each page in realtime. This information can be used to identify popular pages, measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and troubleshoot website issues.

View the report

To access the Realtime pages report:

  1. Sign in to Google Analytics.
  2. From the left menu, select Reports Reports.
  3. On the left, click Realtime pages.

What's in the report

Summary cards

At the top of the page, there are 2 cards that display a summary of the report:

  • Key metrics card: This card shows the total number of Views and Active users that your website or application received in the last 30 minutes.
  • Bar graph card: This card displays the number of Active users per minute in the last 30 minutes in realtime.

Page path and screen class table

Below the cards, a table shows the breakdown of Active users by page path and screen class in the last 30 minutes. The data displayed in the table include:

  • Page path and screen class: All your website’s pages and application’s screens are listed and sorted according to the number of Views and Active users. This helps you identify where users can go on your website or application, and which pages or screens are popular.
  • Views: This metric is the total number of pageviews or screenviews that a specific page or screen received in the last 30 minutes.
  • Active users: This metric is the total number of distinct users who visited your website or application in the last 30 minutes.
Note: Currently, the Realtime pages report is not customizable. Comparisons and filters are also not supported.
