Create affiliate links

You can link unique URLs, or affiliate links, that attribute traffic and conversions to your promotional campaigns to generate revenue and earn commissions with the Google Play Affiliates program.

How to create an affiliate link

You can create affiliate links 2 ways:

• Manually: Put the affiliate links together on your own for eBooks and Audiobooks on the Play Store.
• Google Play Link Builder: Use our tool to quickly create badges for Movies & TV on the Play Store.

Play Books: Create affiliate links manually

1. Find your Google Play Affiliate ID.
   1. On your computer, open Partnerize.
   2. Select Content Link Builder.
   3. Your Google Play Affiliate ID is the alphanumeric value that follows "id=" in the link.
      
      Tip: Each Google Play vertical you’re approved for has a unique Affiliate ID. For example, if you want to promote content on Google Play Books, then you need to use a Google Play Books Affiliate ID to create your affiliate links. The Google Play Books Affiliate ID would be different than the Play Movies & TV Affiliate ID.
2. Find the full Google Play Store URL you want to link to.
   • eBooks
     • ISBN: https://play.google.com/store/books/details?id=ISBN_{book ISBN}
     • EAN: https://play.google.com/store/books/details?id=EAN_{book EAN}
     • GGKEY: https://play.google.com/store/books/details?id=GGKEY_{book GGKEY}
   • Audiobooks
     • ISBN: https://play.google.com/store/audiobooks/details?id=ISBN_{audiobook ISBN}
     • EAN: https://play.google.com/store/audiobooks/details?id=EAN_{audiobook EAN}
     • GGKEY: https://play.google.com/store/audiobooks/details?id=GGKEY_{audiobook GGKEY}
3. Add your Google Play Affiliate ID to the end of the Google Play Store URL. For example, if your link identifies an eBook by ISBN, it would look like this:
   https://play.google.com/store/books/details?id=ISBN_{book ISBN}&PAffiliateID={Your Affiliate ID}
4. (Optional) To allow more precise tracking of your campaigns, add a unique reference to your URL. Learn how to track your campaigns.
5. Add the link to your website, social media page, or other campaign. To improve your click-through rate (CTR), we recommend that you add a badge to your website.
   
   Note: As a Google Play Affiliate, you must meet Google Play brand guidelines when you link to the Google Play Store.

Play Movies & TV: Create affiliate links with Google Play Link Builder

1. On your computer, open the Google Play Link Builder tool.
2. Enter the name of the item you want to link, keywords that relate to it, or its ISBN, ISRC, or UPC numbers.
3. Select the vertical, country, and language your item exists under.
4. Click Search.
5. Select the item you want to link.
6. In the “Affiliate ID” field, enter your Affiliate ID. In Partnerize, this is your “Publisher Camref.” If you don’t know your Affiliate ID:
   1. On your computer, open Partnerize.
   2. Select Content Link Builder.
   3. Your Google Play Affiliate ID is the alphanumeric value that follows "id=" in the link.

For example, if you want to promote content on Google Play Books, then you need to use a Google Play Books Affiliate ID to create your affiliate links. The Google Play Books Affiliate ID would be different than the Play Movies & TV Affiliate ID.
7. (Optional) To allow more precise tracking of your campaigns, add a unique reference to your URL. Learn how to track your campaigns.
8. Choose which type of link you want to use. To improve your click-through rate (CTR), we recommend one of the badge options.
   
   Note: As a Google Play Affiliate, you must meet Google Play brand guidelines when you link to the Google Play Store.
9. Copy the link and add it to your website, social media page, or other campaign.

 Link to vertical-specific landing pages

To link to a Play Store homepage, use the following destination URLs and add your Affiliate ID to the end:

• Google Play Books: https://play.google.com/store/books
• Google Play Movies & TV: https://play.google.com/store/movies

Add your Affiliate ID using this format: ?PAffiliateID={Your Affiliate ID}.
