Ad Exchange report currency and how it works

To better understand how your ad inventory performs across all countries in which you operate, the Ad Exchange Query Tool provides you with a way to view your reporting performance data in the currency of your choice. This strategic information helps you recognize your Ad Exchange performance as a whole--a powerful tool to address your business needs.

Report currency is selected when you define your Ad Exchange query in the query creation process. The user interface offers you a list of all supported currencies, with your account's default currency displayed as the first currency of the list. You can select any currency and proceed as usual.

If you view reporting data in different currencies, the currency in which you are paid is not affected. In other words, a report viewed in another currency does not change the currency associated with your Ad Exchange account.

Exchange rates

The different currencies use the final exchange rate from the previous day for reporting purposes. Therefore, the reporting data for the current day would reflect yesterday’s exchange rates .

On January 2, 2014, the Euro closes at $1.70 USD. You run a report in Euros for January 3, 2014. The report uses the $1.70 Euro-to-USD exchange rate.
Monetary values reported when you change between currencies may be somewhat inaccurate due to natural currency fluctuations between exchange rates .

All available dimensions are supported and compatible for currency. The following metrics are directly impacted and reflect any change in currency selection:
