Save the query, run your report, or schedule a report

After you have defined your query, and selected report dimensions and metrics, you have five options:
  • Run your report: Your query runs to output a report. This option allows you can return to the create/edit screen, and your query settings are still preserved. You can make further edits or choose to save the query.
  • Save your query and run your report: Your query runs to output a report. Your query is saved and appears in the "My queries" list.
  • Schedule reports settings
    1. If you select to schedule your report, you must decide on how often (Frequency) to run your report. These reports include data from the query’s specified date range.
      1. Daily: (default) Generates a new report on a daily basis. Daily reports should arrive before 9 am EST.
      2. Weekly: Generates a new report on a weekly basis. Weekly reports should arrive before 9 am EST on Mondays.
      3. Monthly: Generates a new report on a monthly basis. Monthly reports should arrive before 9 am EST on the first day of each month.
    2. (Optional) Enter email addresses to share this scheduled report (every time it runs).
  • Save your query: You automatically navigate to the "My queries" screen, where your query is saved. If the query is not saved, any edits are lost. Any unsaved query does not appear in the "My queries" list.
For easier access to a saved query, after you run your report, bookmark your report (URL). The next time you access your bookmark, the saved report automatically opens up with all of your saved information.
  • Preview the report layout. The preview function enables you to simulate the output of the query you’ve built before it runs.
