Enhanced campaigns overview

This article refers to the legacy version of the Ad Exchange interface.*

Beginning early 2016, the legacy interface will be deprecated and all non-RTB campaigns created in this platform will be turned off. If you're already using the new interface, you can find most of the new processes in the following:

Pretargeting: create and define pretargeting configurations
Hosted bidding: build and maintain campaigns
Query Tool: create queries and run reports

An enhanced campaign makes it easy to reach people across all devices with the right ads based on their device type.

People are constantly switching between devices, using the one that works best for where they are and what they are trying to do. Enhanced campaigns provide new ways to help you reach the right audience at the moments that matter.

Simplified campaign management

Enhanced campaigns let you easily manage complex targeting, bidding, and ads for desktop and mobile devices within the same campaign. With enhanced campaigns, there is no need to create a separate campaign for each target device type.

Features include:

  1. Mobile campaign bid adjustments, which let you set a coefficient for all bids on mobile device impressions.
  2. Mobile preferred creatives, which let you create mobile-optimized creatives for an ad group and assures that the right creatives show based on the device context.
