Unclear billing: WAP devices

Google provides translated versions of our Help Center, though they are not meant to change the content of our policies. The English version is the official language we use to enforce our policies. To view this article in a different language, use the language dropdown at the bottom of the page.

The Google Ads policy on clear billing practices on WAP devices has changed. Going forward, the requirements for landing pages that target WAP devices will match the requirements for pages targeting desktop and high-end (full browser) mobile devices: in cases of recurrent billing or subscriptions, an opt-in box must accompany price and billing interval. As always, both of these elements must be presented in a clear and obvious location on the page where users provide their information. Providing prices and billing information in very small print on your website isn't considered obvious to users.

This change will affect all countries. We made this decision to protect our users and provide the best experience. After the new policy goes into effect, the Unclear Billing policy will be updated to reflect this change.
