A status given to an ad when it or its website violates our advertising policies. Disapproved ads won't run until the issue has been fixed.

  • When you create or edit an ad, Google reviews the ad to make sure that it complies with our advertising policies and is safe and appropriate.
  • Ads that have an issue with one or more of our advertising policies will be disapproved and can't show until the issue is resolved.
  • You'll typically be notified about the policy and what you can do to get your ad approved. To get your ad up and running, edit your ad (and website if needed) so that it follows our policies.
