Create a new ad

Click one of the links below for instructions to create an ad for a new or existing business.

How to create an ad for a business already in AdWords Express

Computer
  1. Sign into your AdWords Express account.
  2. Click the Menu button menu at the top.
  3. Make sure the business you're looking for appears at the top of the "My business" drop-down menu. If not, click the name of the business, and then click the Menu button menu again at the top.
  4. Click Create new ad.
  5. Follow the step-by-step instructions to choose your audience, write your ad text, and set your budget.

  1. Open the AdWords Express app for Android.
  2. Tap the Menu button menu at the top.
  3. Make sure the business you're looking for appears at the top of the "My business" drop-down menu. If not, tap the name of the business, and then tap the Menu button menu again at the top.

Edit your ad

You can modify your ad text at any time in your AdWords Express dashboard. Click the link below for instructions to edit your ad text.

How to change your ad text

Computer
  1. Sign into your AdWords Express account.
  2. Click the Menu button menu at the top.
  3. Make sure the business you're looking for appears at the top of the "My business" drop-down menu. If not, click the name of the business, and then click the Menu button menu again at the top.
  4. Click the ad you want to edit, and then click Dashboard.
  5. Click Edit in that ad.
  6. Under "Web page address," change the URL of the landing page you want people to go to.
  7. Click Save.

Deactivate or reactivate an ad

It’s not possible at this time to set an end date for your ad, but you can pause the ad at any time. You can also remove the ad from your account if you don't plan to re-use the ad. Also, while paused ads won't accrue charges, you may receive another bill once they start running again.

Computer

  4. For the ad you want to activate, move the switch to Active. Move the switch to Inactive to put the ad on hold.

How to remove your ad

Computer

  4. Click the 3-dot icon next to an ad to show the "Edit" dropdown menu, and then click Remove ad.
  5. Click Remove.
