Copy or move negative keywords

You can cut or copy negative keywords in one campaign or ad group, then paste them in a different campaign or ad group.

Copy and paste negative keywords

1. In the tree view, select the account, campaign or ad group containing the negative keywords to copy.
2. In the type list, click Keywords and targeting and select "Keywords, Negatives."
3. Select one or more negative keywords.
4. Go to the Edit Menu > Copy.
5. In the tree view, select the location where you want to paste the negative keywords.
6. Go to the Edit Menu > Paste.

Cut and paste negative keywords

1. In the tree view, select the account, campaign or ad group containing the negative keywords to move.
2. In the type list, click Keywords and targeting and select "Keywords, Negatives."
3. Select one or more negative keywords.
4. Go to the Edit Menu > Cut.
5. In the tree view, select the location where you want to paste the negative keywords.
6. Go to the Edit Menu > Paste.

Tips:

• To paste ad group negative keywords into more than one ad group, select the destination ad groups in the data view of the Ad Groups tab and go to the Edit menu > Paste Special > Paste into Selected Ad Groups.
• To paste campaign negative keywords into more than one campaign, select the destination campaigns in the data view of the Campaigns tab and go to the Edit menu > Paste Special > Paste Negatives into Selected Campaigns.
