Create and edit universal app campaigns

AdWords Editor lets you create and edit universal app campaigns, which allow you to promote your app across Google Search, Play, YouTube, and within other apps and mobile websites on the Display Network. This article covers how to create and edit these campaigns using AdWords Editor. 
 

Instructions

Create a universal app campaign

  1. In the account tree, select the account where you want the universal app campaign to appear.
  2. In the type list, select Campaigns.
  3. Click the dropdown menu next to Add campaign above the data view.
  4. Select Add Universal app campaign.

Edit a universal app campaign

  1. In the account tree, select the account that has the campaign you’d like to edit.
  2. In the type list, select Campaigns.
  3. Select the campaign you’d like to edit.
  4. Edit the fields you’d like to change in the edit panel.

Note

Certain fields are required for universal app campaigns: "Package name" and the 4 "Ad text ideas" found under the "Universal app settings" section in the edit panel. You can include up to 20 videos and 20 images with your universal app campaigns.
