Create and edit structured snippet extensions

You can use AdWords Editor to add and modify structured snippet extensions at the campaign and ad group levels.

Create a structured snippet

Structured snippets are managed in the Shared library. They must be created in the Shared library before they can be added to campaigns and ad groups. To create a new structured snippet, follow these steps:

  1. Click Shared library under the type list.
  2. Select Shared structured snippet extensions in the left panel.
  3. Click Add shared structured snippet extension, above the data view.
  4. Make sure the new extension is selected in the data view and add the extension information in the edit panel.

Add a structured snippet to a campaign or ad group

  1. In the account tree, select the campaign or ad group where you want to add the extension.
  2. In the type list, select Ad extensions and then Structured snippet extensions.
  3. Above the data view, click Add structured snippet extension and select Campaign structured snippet extension or Ad group structured snippet extension from the drop-down menu.
  4. Choose the extension you want to add from the list.
  5. Click OK.

Edit a structured snippet

Structured snippets are managed in the Shared library, which means that changing the extension will update all campaigns and ad groups where that extension has been added. To edit a structured snippet extension, follow these steps:

  1. Click Shared library under the type list.
  2. Select Shared structured snippet extensions in the left panel.
  3. Select an extension in the data view.
  4. Edit the extension’s information in the edit panel.
