Add an image ad using Google Ads Editor

 You can use Google Ads Editor to add images to your ads. This article explains how.

Instructions

  1. Under "Manage" in the left navigation pane, click the link to the ads you want to work with.
    • Supported ad formats include Gmail ads, image ads, image app install ads, Responsive display ads, and TrueView in-stream video ads.
  2. Select the ad that you want to add an image to.
  3. In the right edit pane, click the add image icon   to add an image.
  4. Select the image you want from the image library. You can select multiple images and you can drag and drop them into Google Ads Editor in bulk.
Hover your cursor over each image to see an enlarged thumbnail image and its dimensions.
  1. Make sure your image's dimensions follow Google Ads editorial policies and guidelines for image size.
  2. If you want to use an image from your local directory, click +Add at the bottom.
  3. Select an image from your local directory, and then click Open.
  4. Click OK.
  5. To upload your image, click Post.
