Whenever you create or edit an ad, Google reviews the ad to make sure that it complies with our advertising policies and is safe and appropriate for users.
Find out why an ad was disapproved by looking at the "Status" column.
Keep in mind:
- In the previous AdWords experience, you can view your ad status on your account's Ads tab. Hover over the white speech bubble next to "Disapproved" and click the disapproval reason to learn more about the policy.
- In the new AdWords experience, you can view your ad’s status by clicking Ads & extensions in the page menu on the left. Hover over the disapproval reason to learn more about the policy.
To get your ad running, edit your ad (and website if needed) so that it follows our policies. Once you edit and save your ad, it will automatically be submitted to us for review. We review most ads within 1 business day, though some reviews may take longer. For help, see how to fix a disapproved ad.
