REPORTS AVAILABILITY AND NAMING

New Reports

We're always striving to make our reports simpler, easier to use, and more targeted.

That's why we split the functionality of the Placement / Keyword Performance and the Placement Performance reports into these smaller, more focused reports:

Keyword Performance
This report will help you monitor the performance statistics of your keywords across your accounts. You should use it if you used the Keywords column of the Placement / Keyword Performance Report.

Managed Placement Performance (Domain)
You should use this report to monitor the performance of your campaigns on the domain placements you selected. The results are grouped by domain name. You should use this report if you used the Domain grouping in the Placement Performance report in the legacy reports center.

Managed Placement Performance (URL)
You should use this report to monitor the performance of your campaigns on the domain placements you selected. The results are group by URL. You should use this report if you used the URL grouping in the Placement Performance report in the legacy reports center.

Automatic Placement Performance (Domain)
If you use AdWords’ Automatic Placement feature to run your campaigns on the Display Network (GCN), this report will help you monitor the performance of your your placements and keywords. This report automatically groups the results by domain name. You should use this report if you used the Domain grouping in the Placement Performance report.

Automatic Placement Performance (URL)
If you use AdWords’ Automatic Placement feature to run your campaigns on the Display Network (GCN), this report will help you monitor the performance of your your ads and keywords. This report automatically groups the results by URL. You should use this report if you used the URL grouping in the Placement Performance report.

Reports That Aren't Yet Supported

The Reach and Frequency Performance report won't initially be available in the new MCC Reporting interface.

We're actively working to add the most relevant and useful data to the MCC reports center, so keep an eye out for updates on supported reports.

REPORTS COLUMN CHANGES

We've simplified the terminology we use in our reporting interface. The following sections explain the rationale behind the new terms as well as the columns that aren't currently supported.

State Columns

We've renamed the existing Status column to State. These State columns can have only one of the following values: Enabled, Paused or Deleted.

The following list details the renamed columns:

  • Ad Group Status → Ad group state
  • Campaign Status → Campaign state
  • Keyword Status → Keyword state
  • Placement Status → Placement state
  • Ad Status → Ad state

New Status Column Conventions

The new Status column now displays more granular information about the relevant AdWords entity. These are the same status columns found under the Campaigns tab. The list below should help you determine the proper values for Status field, per report type.

Columns That Aren't Yet Available

The following column categories aren't yet available:

  • Lead, Sign Up, Sales conversion statistics
  • Interaction Columns

We're actively working to add the most relevant and useful data to the MCC reports center, so keep an eye out for updates on supported reports.

Other Changes

Historical Video Columns:
Historical video columns show data for Click-To-Play Video Ads, an ad format that has since been incorporated into Display Ad Builder. Since this ad format no longer exists, historical video columns are not available in the MCC Reporting center.
