As recently announced, Google will update the Other restricted businesses policy to prohibit promotion of technical support by third-party providers for consumer hardware or software products and services.
Examples of services that can’t be advertised under this policy include remote, online and offline technical support, such as troubleshooting, account and password support and software setup, by third-party providers.
