Google provides translated versions of our Help Centre, although they are not meant to change the content of our policies. The English version is the official language that we use to enforce our policies. To view this article in a different language, use the language drop-down at the bottom of the page.
In March 2018, we will rename and reorganise some of our Google Ads policies and pages for improved readability and understanding. All policy actions and corresponding messaging to Google Ads advertisers will include updated policy names. Note that these changes will not impact what is currently restricted or prohibited by policy.
Some examples of what’s changing:
Advertisers will find that some of our policies, such as the policy against charging for products that are typically free, which is currently classified as Untrustworthy behaviour under the Misrepresentation policy, will be enforced under the Other restricted businesses policy after the reorganisation.
Additionally we will rename the Untrustworthy behaviour policy to Unacceptable business practices.
