In March 2018, we will rename and reorganize some of our Google Ads policies and pages for improved readability and understanding. All policy actions and corresponding messaging to Google advertisers will include updated policy names. Note that these changes will not impact what is currently restricted or prohibited by policy.
Some examples of what’s changing:
Advertisers will find that some of our policies, such as the policy against charging for products that are typically free, which is currently classified as Untrustworthy behavior under the Misrepresentation policy, will be enforced under the Other restricted businesses policy after the reorganization.
Additionally we will rename the Untrustworthy behavior policy to Unacceptable business practices.
