Financial Services: Russia

The Google Ads policy on Financial Services will change in around May 2015. We're clarifying the requirements for financial services ads targeting Russia.

Starting in May 2015, we’ll update our policy to reflect the following requirements for companies promoting financial services and products in Russia:

  • Advertisers must hold a valid licence or be registered with the relevant Russian authority.
  • A valid corresponding licence and/or registration number must be displayed on each landing page.
  • The brand-name or the registered title of the licensed and/or registered financial services provider must be part of every ad creative.

Google requires that advertisers comply with all applicable laws and regulations in all countries where their ads appear. Our financial services policy will be updated to reflect these requirements for Russia.
