The Google Ads policy on healthcare and medicines will change around late July 2013. The policy will be updated to allow certain pharmacies to be promoted with restrictions in Sweden and Mexico, and to also allow prescription drugs to be promoted in New Zealand. We will also permit drug manufacturers to apply to advertise over-the-counter medicines where permitted by law.
We made this decision for consistency reasons. After the new policy goes into effect, the policy description will be updated to reflect this change.
