Alcohol

Google provides translated versions of our Help Centre, although they are not meant to change the content of our policies. The Google Ads policy on alcohol will change on around 23 April, 2013. Google will continue to accept advertising for alcoholic drinks, including wine, beer and spirits. With the upcoming policy change, certain geographic restrictions will be implemented based upon whether the ad promotes an alcoholic drink or promotes the online sale of alcohol.

After the new policy goes into effect, the policy description will be updated to reflect this change.
