The Google Ads policy on Information Harvesting will be updated around mid-March 2012. The more narrowly-tailored policy is intended to protect users more effectively from sites whose primary purpose is to collect personal information. This includes but is not limited to sites offering free gifts or other incentives in exchange for personal information. The change will affect all countries, and the policy description will be updated to reflect this change.
