Update to Healthcare and Medicines Policy (April 2026)

In April 2026, the country-specifics of the Healthcare and medicines policy will be updated to allow telemedicine providers to promote prescription drug services in New Zealand.

Allowed with limitations

Google allows the promotion of prescription drug services by telemedicine providers that are certified by LegitScript’s Healthcare Merchant Certification Program.

Violations of this policy will not lead to immediate account suspension without prior warning. A warning will be issued at least 7 days prior to any suspension of your account. Learn more about Google Ads account suspensions overview.
