The Google Ads policy on Software Principles will change in around mid-October 2011. The policy is changing to clarify our Software Principles policy. We made this decision to provide users and advertisers with more transparent information around our Software Principles. The change will affect all countries, and we'll send notifications to affected advertisers. After the new policy goes into effect, the policy description will be updated to reflect this change.
