In September 2025, the Google Ads sexual content policy will be updated by removing mature cosmetic procedures from policy. This update will be implemented on 22 September 2025, after which we will no longer restrict mature cosmetic procedures in Google Ads under the sexual content policy. We will begin updating policy enforcement on 22 September 2025, with full deprecation of enforcement happening over approximately four weeks.
Ads continue to be subject to all remaining Google Ads’ policies, including sexual content and may be restricted or disapproved if policies such as sexually suggestive elements and themes or nudity are violated. Additionally, ad protections for children and teenagers continue to restrict this content for minors.
This policy update will take effect on 22 September 2025.
