Update to Gambling and games policy (February 2025)

Google provides translated versions of our Help Centre, although they are not meant to change the content of our policies. On 17 February 2025, the Google Ads Gambling and games policy Philippines country-specifics will be updated. In addition to state-run entities, we will begin accepting ads by state-licensed entities.

red x mark Not allowed

Google doesn't allow the following gambling-related content:

  • Location-based or "bricks-and-mortar" gambling
Online gambling No issues detected and positive check mark icon Allowed with limitations

Google allows ads that promote the following online gambling by state-run or state-licensed entities:

  • Casino games
  • Lotteries
  • Bingo
  • Sports betting

Advertisers must also be certified with Google. See how to apply.

Online non-casino games red x mark Not allowed Google doesn't allow advertising for Internet-based games where money or other items of value are paid or wagered to win a greater sum of money or other item of value.

Advertisers must apply for certification.

The Gambling and games policy page will be updated when the policy goes into effect on 17 February 2025.
