In June 2024, Google will limit the functionality of suspended accounts. Advertisers will be informed in-product that their suspended account will have limited functionality. They will be able to access their suspended accounts but will be limited to the following actions:
- Billing options: Make a payment, download tax documents, add a payment method
- Account settings: Cancel account and claim refunds
- Appeals and verification: Appeal a suspension, complete advertiser verification
- Security settings: Update security settings within the Google Ads account
- Navigate to any page on their Google Ads account
- Read information and download associated reports from their Google Account
All other actions will be disabled in the suspended account.
This update only applies to suspended Google Ads accounts and will not change how active accounts operate. Learn more about account suspensions.
