In mid November, 2021, Google will update its political content policy to include an election ads policy for Brazil. This will include the following changes:
All advertisers running election ads in Brazil must be verified by Google. Verification to run election ads in Brazil will be available as of today. Information about verification requirements can be found here.
Election ads in Brazil are ads that feature any of the following:
- A political party, current elected officeholder or candidate for President, Vice President, the Federal Senate or the Chamber of Deputies.
