In December 2020, the Google Ads Other restricted businesses policy will be updated. The policy on Event Ticket sales will be updated so that only ads from primary providers will be allowed to advertise in France and French territories. We will begin enforcing the policy update on December 4th. The new policy is as follows:
Event Ticket Sales
Live event ticket sellers are allowed to advertise if they have been certified by Google. Note that if you sell or link to sites that sell resale live event tickets, you'll need to meet certain destination requirements in order to be certified.
Event ticket sale is restricted to certified primary providers in France and French territories.
Violations of this policy will not lead to immediate account suspension without prior warning. A warning will be issued, at least seven days, prior to any suspension of your account.
Please review this policy update to determine whether or not any of your ads fall under the scope of the policy, and if so, remove those ads before December 4th.
