In our Google Product Forums, members help other members better understand a specific Google product. Sometimes, you may see some users try to use our communities to promote their own products or services, or pretend to be from Google to scam and get money from others.
Protect your personal information
Google Product Forums are public communities. Never post personal information like:
- Home address
- Phone number
- Sign in information, like your email address or password
- Any other personal information, like credit card info and more
Important: Google will never ask you for the above information through the Google Product Forums or Google Help Communities.
Check if a post or answer is from an expert
See the person’s profile photo, if the post or answer is from:
- A Google employee, you’ll see the Google employee badge .
- A recognized Google Product Expert, you’ll see one of these expert badges
- Go to the message you want to report.
- Next to the date, click the Down arrow .
- Select Report abuse.
