New to adsense... got disabled...
So I have attempted an appeal, I really hope it goes through. I was really enjoying this, and I dont really see much of a point of doing all this without adsense...
I am quite surprised, its not like Ive made money.. hahaha, I havent made close to enough to get a check out of them, even after 33 videos in 3 months.
So hopefully they reactivate my account... We shall see... Will keep ya posted!
Like I said my clicks went crazy... had like 70 in one day, but I was making less than when I had regular ads, so I figured it was normal... so Im fairly confused about the whole system... I wish they did a better job explaining the ad systems... and how they work...
Just wish I never tried those video ads... cause it seems like that is what caused it for me...
I just want my account back...
I did not violate any of the TOS, ive read it and re read it...
Problem I think I had was with video ads... as I had no problems with regular ads for 3 months (you know, low click rate, and what not)... 2 days after the videos started, I was disabled...
I realize a fair number of YouTube publishers are experiencing problems. Unfortunately, from conversations with AdSense staff, they are satisfied that the disablings are valid. I certainly wouldn't stake my life on AdSense in any form, but especially for YouTube revenue.
There is a world outside of Google, AdSense and YouTube and if you have video talent, I encourage you to explore these options. My AdSense revenue is miniscule in the scheme of things -- but I enjoy helping out where I can, and I know the feeling of the dreaded email because I've received it. Unfortunately the story of how I survived and ultimately became a TC won't help you get your account restored.
Its gone for good, I'm afraid.
If not.... Ill just deal with sponsors myself, its a big hassel that I didnt want any part of, but I know I can sell things... Buying and selling things is a hobby of mine.
Im sure Magic Jack will miss me, Ive sold 6 of them to friends that have watched my videos in the past 2 months... Not to mention all the clicks Ive gotten for similac and nestle as well... Im sure each one of them actually signed up for they're offers as well, since they were free baby stuff for mothers...
You see, I made videos relevant to ads, as much as they made ads relevant to my videos... I figured that would be the best way; to actually 'sell' someone on a product, without asking them to outright click on ads... Is that somehow wrong? I really thought I was following the rules, and maximizing my results...
At least this happened before I started my own adsense campaign... I was actually waiting till today cause I got paid to start my own campaign... I would have been really angry if I wasted money on that only for this to happen...
Fact is, I make google, and its sponsors alot more money than the measly pennies they pay for my click throughs... They should respect that... If this system was this easy to break, whats stopping people from click bombing competition? Im sure they will investigate, and do the right thing.
Google I believe is a good company, and Ill stand by that until I get an answer from them... Something is not right here, and I suspect it will be fixed.
Remember Googles Code: Dont Be Evil!
Ive been a fan of Google since the 90's. When I found the fastest most efficient search engine on the net. I have nothing but good things to say about them so far.
>>> my account I will be reactivated.
Unlikely to have a person review your site. They do that using computers.
>>> Accidental clicks can happen, and
>>> I cant control all users of all computers.
Well, right, and that's why they disabled your account for good. Their advertisers don't like to pay for "accidental" clicks at all^^
>>> But they all already know they aren't
>>> supposed to click on my ads just to make
>>> me money... Ive made that very clear...
>>> At least this happened before I
>>> started my own adsense campaign
Is that meant to be an Adwords campaign? If so, the better. Of course it's against the TOS to send Adword-traffic to a site with Adsense on it.
Invalid clicks and impressions
Publishers may not click their own ads or use any means to inflate impressions and/or clicks artificially, including manual methods.
Clicks on Google ads must result from genuine user interest. Any method that artificially generates clicks or impressions on your Google ads is strictly prohibited. These prohibited methods include, but are not limited to, repeated manual clicks or impressions, automated click and impression generating tools and the use of robots or deceptive software. Please note that clicking your own ads for any reason is prohibited.
Like I say, I know the terms... I Follow Them!!!
Only time my impressions go up is when I make new videos and share them on facebook and whatnot...
I lost my youtube channel and email too, but got them back....
I never realized how competitive I can be... hahaha
but there is no need for a competition, I suppose I could go without adsense.... but that would be pretty lame... Anyways, sorry for the trouble guys, It just took me a long time to figure out why this made no sense to me.... it took alot of thought
