New to adsense... got disabled...

Well, like the title states, just starting with youtube, and adsense... was good for two months... as far as I know, but after I tried video ads, my clicks went crazy, and 2 days later account disabled.

So I have attempted an appeal, I really hope it goes through.  I was really enjoying this, and I dont really see much of a point of doing all this without adsense...

I am quite surprised, its not like Ive made money.. hahaha, I havent made close to enough to get a check out of them, even after 33 videos in 3 months.

So hopefully they reactivate my account... We shall see... Will keep ya posted!

For the record... I didnt know what Truview ads even were or how they worked, and didnt know what to expect for click through rate when I activated them... So I had no idea wether my click through rates were high low or whatever...

Like I said my clicks went crazy... had like 70 in one day, but I was making less than when I had regular ads, so I figured it was normal... so Im fairly confused about the whole system... I wish they did a better job explaining the ad systems... and how they work...

After looking at this forum...  It looks as if they activated some kind of auto banning feature, and it seems they have took down adsense on tonnes of seemingly innocent youtube users...  and I am sure after review alot of us will have our accounts back... I hope.

Just wish I never tried those video ads... cause it seems like that is what caused it for me...

Also If this is cause of a couple clicks coming from my router... I dont see how thats a problem either...  I have a network of 10 computers, and 5 different adult users, and children running around learning to play with computers...  Accidental clicks can happen, and I cant control all users of all computers.  I know my wife has clicked a couple ads, after I asked her if she did, and she said she was interested in the coupon site that they were advertising... Thats not a false click... thats genuine interest, and I read on adsense site that they dont want us emailing them everytime we notice a false click or have genuine interest in the ad.  So what gives?  also... its pretty clear, when looking at my earnings... that I dont use any type of auto-whatever feature to make me more money...  If what has happened is wrong, I can try and inform everyone in the house... But they all already know they aren't supposed to click on my ads just to make me money... Ive made that very clear...

Sorry for the long post, I just want to make sure I am clear as to what is going on...

I just want my account back...

I did not violate any of the TOS, ive read it and re read it...

Problem I think I had was with video ads... as I had no problems with regular ads for 3 months (you know, low click rate, and what not)... 2 days after the videos started, I was disabled...

Sytex, if your account has been disabled and your appeal denied, you won't be returning to AdSense, ever.  I'm being direct here because I don't want you to get your hopes up.  You might not consider yourself responsible for the invalid clicks, but Google's computers sensed something not quite right in them -- and that is it as far as the systems are concerned.

I realize a fair number of YouTube publishers are experiencing problems.  Unfortunately, from conversations with AdSense staff, they are satisfied that the disablings are valid.  I certainly wouldn't stake my life on AdSense in any form, but especially for YouTube revenue.

There is a world outside of Google, AdSense and YouTube and if you have video talent, I encourage you to explore these options.  My AdSense revenue is miniscule in the scheme of things -- but I enjoy helping out where I can, and I know the feeling of the dreaded email because I've received it.  Unfortunately the story of how I survived and ultimately became a TC won't help you get your account restored.

Its gone for good, I'm afraid.

Well I havent had any review of my appeal as of yet... they say it can take a week... Im sure if a person reviews my account I will be reactivated.

If not.... Ill just deal with sponsors myself, its a big hassel that I didnt want any part of, but I know I can sell things... Buying and selling things is a hobby of mine.

Im sure Magic Jack will miss me, Ive sold 6 of them to friends that have watched my videos in the past 2 months... Not to mention all the clicks Ive gotten for similac and nestle as well... Im sure each one of them actually signed up for they're offers as well, since they were free baby stuff for mothers...

You see, I made videos relevant to ads, as much as they made ads relevant to my videos... I figured that would be the best way; to actually 'sell' someone on a product, without asking them to outright click on ads... Is that somehow wrong?  I really thought I was following the rules, and maximizing my results...

At least this happened before I started my own adsense campaign... I was actually waiting till today cause I got paid to start my own campaign... I would have been really angry if I wasted money on that only for this to happen...

Sorry to say but I don't think so that you'll be reactivated.

Thats a very technical breakdown Vins21... could you tell me exactly how you deduce that?  After 3 months, 33 videos, 15 random stranger subscribers, and 10,000 views, I do believe I should have got a few clicks dont you think?  And if I was some autoclicking scammer, why would I bother making a video every 2 days, when I could be clicking ads? or running some kind of spam bots... Im a dedicated producer, and deserve to be treated as such.

Fact is, I make google, and its sponsors alot more money than the measly pennies they pay for my click throughs... They should respect that... If this system was this easy to break, whats stopping people from click bombing competition?  Im sure they will investigate, and do the right thing.

Google I believe is a good company, and Ill stand by that until I get an answer from them...  Something is not right here, and I suspect it will be fixed.

Remember Googles Code:  Dont Be Evil!

Ive been a fan of Google since the 90's. When I found the fastest most efficient search engine on the net.  I have nothing but good things to say about them so far.

Unlikely to have a person review your site. They do that using computers.

>>> Accidental clicks can happen, and
>>> I cant control all users of all computers.

Well, right, and that's why they disabled your account for good. Their advertisers don't like to pay for "accidental" clicks at all^^

>>> But they all already know they aren't
>>> supposed to click on my ads just to make
>>>  me money... Ive made that very clear...

Too late.

>>> At least this happened before I
>>> started my own adsense campaign

Is that meant to be an Adwords campaign? If so, the better. Of course it's against the TOS to send Adword-traffic to a site with Adsense on it.

I think I figured out my problem... I just hope they accept me back again.....

I lost my youtube channel and email too, but got them back....

I never realized how competitive I can be... hahaha

but there is no need for a competition, I suppose I could go without adsense.... but that would be pretty lame...  Anyways, sorry for the trouble guys, It just took me a long time to figure out why this made no sense to me.... it took alot of thought
