Troubleshooting ads.txt issues

The following table contains information about troubleshooting ads.txt.

Your site doesn't have an ads.txt file. Download an ads.txt from your account and upload it to the root directory of your site. Follow these instructions to create an ads.txt file for your site.
Your publisher ID is missing from your ads.txt file. Copy your publisher ID from your account and add your publisher ID to your ads.txt file.
You've uploaded your ads.txt but AdSense still says you need to create one. It may take a few days for AdSense to automatically crawl and verify your ads.txt file. Please wait at least a few days for your ads.txt status to update. If your site doesn't make many ad requests it may take up to a month.
