Edit a search engine

After you create and save your search engine, you can go back to edit the settings.

1. Sign in to your AdSense account.
2. Click Ads.
3. Click By ad unit.
4. In the table, click Edit next to your search engine.
5. On the "Search engine preview" page, you can make the following changes:
   • Turn on or off the Make money from ads placed into the search results option.
     Removing the option to place ads in new search engines

     We've temporarily removed the "Make money from ads placed into the search results" option from search engines. You still have access to all other features and capabilities. If you already have ads turned on, your search engine will continue to show ads as expected.

   • View customization options in the Programmable Search control panel. Learn how to edit your search engine with the control panel.
6. After you've made your changes, click Save.
