Search style ad settings

All of the available ad settings for Custom Search Ads are described below.

Use these settings to apply styles across your ads:

Setting	Description
Font	Set the font for the text in your ads. You can choose from a range of Google fonts.
Font color	Set the font color for the text in your ads.
Background color	Set the background color for your ads.
Padding	Set the padding around the top, bottom and sides of your ads.
Borders	Set the border size and color for your ads.
On rollover	Set the emphasis and background color for your ads on rollover.

Use these settings to style the headlines of your ads:

Setting	Description
Font	Set the font and font color for the headlines.
Font size	Set the font size for the headlines.
Line height	Set the line height for the headlines.
Emphasis	Choose whether you want the headlines to be bold, italicized, or underlined
Padding	Set the padding around the top, bottom and sides of the headlines.
On rollover	Set the emphasis and background color for the headlines on rollover.

Use these settings to style the URL text of your ads:

Setting	Description
Font	Set the font and font color for the URL text.
Font size	Set the font size for the URL text.
Line height	Set the line height for the URL text.
Emphasis	Choose whether you want the URL text to be bold, italicized, or underlined.
On rollover	Set the emphasis and font color for the URL text on rollover.
Padding	Set the padding around the top, bottom and sides of the URLs.

Use these settings to style the description text of your ads:

Setting	Description
Font	Set the font and font color for the descriptions.
Font size	Set the font size for the descriptions.
Line height	Set the line height for the descriptions.
Emphasis	Choose whether you want the descriptions to be bold, italicized, or underlined.
Padding	Set the padding around the top, bottom and sides of the descriptions.

Use these settings to style the search keyword of your ads:

Setting	Description
Text color	Set the font and font color for the search keywords.
Emphasis	Choose whether you want the search keywords to be bold, italicized, or underlined.

Use these settings to style the ad separator in your ads:

Setting	Description
Separator color	Set the color for the ad separator.

Note that some ad badge settings may not be available for some templates. When available, use these settings to style the ad badge in your ads:

Setting	Description
Font	Set the font for the ad badge. You can choose from a range of Google fonts.
Font color	Set the font color for the text in your ad badge.
Background color	Set the background color for the ad badge.
Font size	Set the font size for the ad badge.
Line height	Set the line height for the ad badge.
Emphasis	Choose whether you want the ad badge to be bold, italicized, or underlined.
Padding	Set the padding around the top, bottom and sides of the ad badge.
Borders	Set the border color, size and radius for the ad badge.

If your layout includes an image, use these settings to style the image in your ads:

Setting	Description
Icon color	Set the color for the icon.
Icon	Choose either a custom or standard icon.
Size	Set the width and height of the image.

If your layout includes an image in the left-hand column, use these settings to style the image in your ads:

Setting	Description
Background color	Set the background color for the ad image.
Margins	Set the margins around the top, bottom and sides of your ad image.
Padding	Set the padding around the top, bottom and sides of your ad image.
Borders	Set the border color, size and radius for the ad image.
Width	Set the width of the ad image.
Height	Set the height of the ad image.
