  A wire transfer is a method of electronic funds transfer. It allows you to receive funds directly into your bank account. Google sends your earnings in U.S. dollars or Euros, depending on your account currency, via international wire transfer to the bank of your choice and you get the money in the bank account you specify. This is a fast, simple, and secure method for receiving your payments.

Why did my wire transfer payment fail?

  There are a number of reasons why your wire transfer payment might fail. We have provided a detailed list below:
  • Incorrect bank account number or bank codes (the required information will vary by country)
  • Bank is not located in the same country you entered in your AdSense account
  • Your bank account is closed
  • Your bank account information was entered in localized characters
  • Your bank account number has hyphens
  • Your bank code changed as the result of a recent bank merger
  • Your bank account is not able to receive AdSense payments via international wire transfer

If you see an error after you submit your bank account information, we encourage you to re-enter your bank information to make sure there wasn't a typo. You may also wish to contact your bank to confirm the exact details that you need to submit and try again.

Wire transfer payments are currently only available to a number of countries. Though we may offer wire transfer to other countries in the future, we do not have a date for when this may become available.

What happens when you contact us:

  1. We review your payment history and confirm whether your payment was issued successfully.
  2. If your payment was cancelled, we contact your bank to find out why, then let you know how to fix the issue and receive your payment.
  3. If it wasn't cancelled, we put you in touch with our finance team who help you track your payment with a SWIFT copy/UTR. Your bank can use the SWIFT copy/UTR to find your payment as it contains information such as the time and date when the bank received your payment.
