  Western Union Quick Cash is a payment method that allows you to receive your AdSense payments in cash using the worldwide Western Union money transfer service. Payments will be available for collection from your local Western Union Agent the day after they are sent according to our normal payment schedule. Please note that at this time, this payment option is only available to individual publishers in certain countries. How do I pick up my Western Union Quick Cash payment?


To pick up your payment by Western Union Quick Cash, please complete the following steps:

  1. Visit to locate a Western Union Agent.
  2. Call the Western Union Agent to confirm that they offer the Quick Cash service.
  3. Bring the following information with you:

    - a valid government-issued photo ID (Passport, Driver's licence, National ID etc)
    - sender's information: To determine which sender's information you should bring to your WU branch, please check the 'details' link on the payment line of your Payments page.

    - amount of your payment, which you can find on your Payment History page
    - your unique MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number) which you can find by clicking on the 'details' link next to the Payment Issued line on your Payments page

When you go to the Western Union agent, please let them know that you would like to pick up a Quick Cash payment. Additionally, please remember to pick up your Western Union payment within 60 days of the payment date or the amount will be credited back to your AdSense account.

My Western Union payment has been held. What do I do?


If you didn't pick up your Western Union Quick Cash payment within 60 days of when it was issued, your earnings will be credited back to your account and your future payments put on hold.

To release the hold, sign in to your account and visit your Payments page. There you'll see a Required Action box - click the Please contact AdSense Support link within and explain your situation. We'll then remove the payment hold from your account.

Please keep in mind that the payment hold must be removed from your account before the 15th of any month in order for your earnings to be paid out in that month's payment cycle.

Western Union payments are currently only available to a number of countries. Although we may offer WU to other countries in the future, we do not have a date for when this may become available.
