Troubleshoot and resolve common issues
Below is a list of the current AdSense known issues and their possible workarounds. Please know we are working to resolve these issues and appreciate your patience.
Some November payments still pending
Some of you might have noticed that your November payment is still marked as "pending". Rest assured we are working hard to complete your payment as quickly as possible. No additional action is required on your part, and there's no need to contact us about your November payment. As soon as the issue is fixed, you'll see the status of your November payment updated.

Mislabeled metrics appearing in Performance reports
Some publishers have reported seeing the following issues in their Performance reports:
- The CTR metric incorrectly labelled as "Impression spam %"
- Some spam-related metrics incorrectly listed in the Custom metric family selector.
Our engineers have fixed this issue. Note that the incorrectly labeled metrics were not enabled.

AdSense Android app issue
Some publishers have reported an issue with the AdSense Android app crashing. Our engineers are currently investigating the issue and working to resolve it as quickly as possible.
If you're affected by this, please try uninstalling and reinstalling your AdSense Android app.

Ad balance is under maintenance
Ad balance is currently undergoing engineering work to fine tune revenue estimations. We’ve deactivated the Ad balance tool in all publishers' accounts.
If you use the Ad balance tool, your previous Ad balance settings are no longer active. As a result, Ad balance is not currently affecting your fill rate or revenue.
You don’t need to take any action. We'll let you know when the tool is active again.

Some publishers received an incorrect PIN
Some of our publishers have reported that the Personal Identification Number (PIN) they received is incorrect. We've determined that this was caused by a printing error which has now been fixed.
If you've been affected by this issue, here's what to do next:
- If you're a U.S. publisher: request a new PIN
You'll be able to request a new PIN from Friday, October 14. (If you're unable to request a new PIN on Friday, please wait until seven days have passed since you last requested a PIN.)
- If you're a non-U.S. publisher: wait for a new PIN
You'll automatically be sent a new PIN, which will arrive in the next two weeks.
Note that we've also reset the number of attempts you have left to correctly enter your PIN.

We're aware that AdSense signup doesn't allow publishers to switch between multiple Google Accounts. When signing up for AdSense please sign out of all Google Accounts except the one you want to associate with AdSense. Otherwise, AdSense will select your default Google Account for sign up.
This also affects YouTube and Blogger publishers who want to associate their YouTube channel or Blogger account with AdSense. We recommend using the same Google Account for AdSense as you use with YouTube or Blogger.
To sign out of all of your Google Accounts except one, follow these steps:
- In a new browser tab, visit https://accounts.google.com/logout.
- Click Remove.
- Click X next to each Google Account you don't want to associate with AdSense. (Make sure you leave the one Google Account that you do want to associate with AdSense.)
- Click Done.
- Go back to the AdSense signup page.
- Click Create or use another account, and sign in to the Google Account you want associate with AdSense.
Our engineers are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

Some publishers received a message regarding an account closure
Some of our publishers received a message from us today regarding an account closure. We’ve closed these accounts because they have been inactive for a while. Please note that active accounts have not been affected.
If you received this message and would like to open a new AdSense account, please reapply by logging into your Google Account and then visiting www.google.com/adsense. Note that you cannot re-open your old account.

Partners unable to action multiple ad units in the MCM tool
Some partners have reported that there's an issue when actioning multiple ad units in the Multiple Customer Management (MCM) tool. When a partner attempts to edit the management state of multiple ad units, the MCM tool reports that the bulk action was successful, even though the bulk action failed. Partners should review any bulk updates they recently attempted, as the management state of any affected ad units will not have changed.
Our engineers are currently investigating the issue and working to resolve it as quickly as possible. Until this issue is fixed, we recommend that partners only action individual ad units and avoid making bulk updates.

Some new publishers are briefly seeing ads after signup
Some new publishers have reported seeing ads on their blogs immediately after signing up for AdSense via a host partner site, but before their account has been fully reviewed. The ads stop showing after a few hours. Our engineers are currently investigating the issue and working to resolve it as quickly as possible.
