Retiring the AdMob Promote tab
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve AdMob, we're launching the new Campaigns tab and retiring the Promote tab.
Starting in September, we’ll be moving house ad campaign creation to the new Campaigns tab, and all paid campaigns and billing will need to be managed from Google AdWords, Google's online advertising program.
House ad campaigns
House ad campaign creation is being moved to the new AdMob Campaigns tab. To continue running your existing campaigns, you will need to recreate those campaigns in the Campaigns tab.
About the Campaigns tab
The AdMob Campaigns tab is a powerful new tool to help you effectively manage your house ad and direct deal campaigns. You’ll also be able to cross-promote your apps using mediated house ad campaigns. These campaigns compete with other campaigns in your mediation stack.

Paid ad campaigns
Paid ad campaign creation is being removed from AdMob. We suggest using AdWords, Google's online advertising program, to create new paid ad campaigns.
Each AdMob user has a Google AdWords account. Your AdWords account was either created when you signed up for AdMob or your existing AdWords account was connected to your AdMob account during sign up. You can use your AdWords account to run paid ad campaigns, particularly universal app campaigns.
Billing in AdMob is also being retired. Billing for paid ads should be managed in your AdWords account going forward. Access your AdWords billing information by clicking (Settings) > Billing in AdWords or AdMob.
