You can edit your conversion events after you set them up.
Edit your conversion event
Note: If you want to update the conversion status, you need to go to Google Ads to change the status.
Follow these steps to edit an existing conversion event:
- Sign in to your AdMob account at https://admob.google.com.
- Click Campaigns in the sidebar.
- Click the Conversions tab.
- Click the name of the conversion action that you want to edit.
- Make the desired changes.
- Click Done.
You can edit the following:
- Conversion event name: The name of your conversion event.
- Action optimisation: Indicates how the conversion action is used in campaigns. This impacts your AdMob campaigns and any Google Ads campaigns running in your linked Google Ads account.
- Primary conversion actions are used to optimise campaigns and are included in your reports. You can have one primary conversion action per app.
- Secondary conversion actions are used for reporting only.
- Conversion windows: Determines how long after a user interacts with your ad to count app installs as conversions.
- Click-through conversion window: A click-through conversion is counted when someone clicks on your ad and installs your app within the length of time that you select.
Example: If you have a 30-day click-through conversion window, conversions that happen within 30 days after someone clicks on your ad will be recorded as a click-through conversion.
- Engaged-view conversion window: An engaged-view conversion is counted when someone does not click on your video ad but watches at least 10 seconds of the skippable (after five seconds) ad – or the full length, if it is shorter than ten seconds – and then installs the app within the conversion window.
Example: If you have a 2-day engaged-view conversion window, conversions that happen within 2 days after someone watches your video ad for 10 seconds or longer will be recorded as an engaged-view conversion. Learn more about Engaged-view conversions.
- Click-through conversion window: A click-through conversion is counted when someone clicks on your ad and installs your app within the length of time that you select.
