As part of our efforts to protect publisher accounts and provide account-specific support, we require you to provide a valid phone number. To make sure your information is accurate and up to date, we may require that you verify your phone number via SMS text or phone call. You'll receive a 6-digit personal identification number (PIN) to enter and verify your account.
Phone number verification is not required in all countries. If it's required for you, you'll be prompted during AdMob sign-up or on the Home page of the AdMob user interface.
Verify your phone number
During AdMob sign-up, you may be prompted to verify your account using your phone number. Complete the steps below to verify your account:
- Click Next: Verify your account.
- Enter your phone number.
If you've verified a phone number previously for Google, you may see your verified phone number already entered for you. You can choose to use this phone number and skip the rest of the phone verification process, or enter a new number.
- Choose whether you’d like to receive your verification code by text message (SMS) or voice call.
- Click Continue. You should soon be contacted by the method you selected in the previous step.
- Enter the 6-digit verification code that you received and click Verify. If you didn't receive the PIN, you can click Request new PIN to try again.
How long do I have to enter a verification code?
You'll have six months from the date that your earnings reached the verification threshold to enter your verification code. If you haven't entered your code within 4 months, we'll replace the paid ads on your site with unpaid transparent boxes. If you still have not entered your code within 6 months, your account will be disabled and your unpaid earnings will be refunded to the appropriate advertisers.
