About bidding eCPM floors
AdMob provides an eCPM floor for bidders within the mediation group that works with the extended mediation segmentation capabilities. You can also use bidding eCPM floors in our A/B testing tool to determine the impact of setting different floors in a mediation group.
When you set a bidding eCPM floor to a mediation group, that floor applies to all bidders in the auction and overrides the ad unit floor for all bidding traffic in a mediation group.
Set a bidding eCPM floor in a mediation group
You can set a bidding eCPM floor when you create a new mediation group or update a mediation group.
To set an eCPM floor for bidders within a mediation group:
- Sign in to your AdMob account at https://admob.google.com.
- Click Mediation in the sidebar.
- In “Mediation group”, click the name of the mediation group that you want to set the bidding eCPM floor.
- In the Bidding ad sources table, click
to set the eCPM floor for bidders.
- Click the toggle to turn on the bidding eCPM floor setting.
- Enter a minimum eCPM for the auction.
- Click Save.
Set a bidding eCPM floor in an A/B test
The bidding eCPM floor supports the ability to A/B test different floor values. This can help you determine the impact of setting different floors in a mediation group.
To set a bidding eCPM floor in an A/B test:
- Sign in to your AdMob account at https://admob.google.com.
- Click Mediation in the sidebar.
- Hover over the mediation group that you want to create an A/B test for and click
. Then, click Set up A/B test.
- In the “Variant B” Bidding ad sources, click
to set the eCPM floor for bidders.
- Click the toggle to turn on the bidding eCPM floor setting.
- Enter a minimum eCPM to test the floor value.
- Click Save.
