Network partner deactivated for invalid activity

Why was my network partner deactivated? Can you tell me more about the invalid activity you detected?

To protect our proprietary detection system, we're unable to provide our publishers with specific information about the violation, including specific web pages, users, or third-party services that might have been involved.

Google has the sole discretion to determine instances of invalid activity. We treat invalid activity very seriously, analyzing all clicks and impressions to determine whether they fit a pattern of use that might artificially drive up an advertiser's costs or a publisher's earnings. If we determine that a network partner account might pose a risk to our advertisers, we may deactivate that account to protect our advertisers' interests.

To learn more about the most common reasons that accounts are deactivated, see our top reasons for account closure. If needed, reach out to your Account Manager.

Can I create a new network partner account for a network partner that had their account deactivated previously?

Publishers deactivated for invalid activity on Ad Exchange (AdX) are not allowed any further participation in AdSense or Ad Exchange. Creating new network partner accounts for these network partners is not allowed.

My network partner’s account was deactivated for invalid activity. What does that mean for my Ad Exchange (AdX) account?

You will not be able to monetize any network partners deactivated for invalid activity. Additionally, we may deduct earnings related to the deactivated network partner in the 60 days prior to removing it from your account. These earnings, including Google's share, will be properly returned to the affected advertisers.

Keep in mind that while we have systems in place to detect invalid activity, you are responsible for regularly reviewing traffic and ad implementations from your account, including from your network partners. Extensive or repeated instances of invalid activity from your network partners may pose a risk to your Ad Exchange (AdX) account.

We recommend you make sure to comply with the Google Ad Manager Partner Guidelines and Platform Program Policies, as well as get familiar with the Scaled Partner Management checklist

My network partner’s account was deactivated. Can I still monetize their site?

Per the Google Ad Manager Partner Guidelines, you may not monetize network partner sites that were previously disapproved by Google.
