Manage inventory
New format settings
To simplify format management, Ad Manager has consolidated format-related controls into a single, dedicated tab called "Format settings." You can navigate to the tab by clicking Inventory, then Inventory rules, and then Format settings. As part of this update, "Size settings" has been renamed "Format settings."
Existing format controls, such as High-engagement ads, have moved from "Video settings" to the new tab. In addition, relevant targeting dimensions were added to provide more granular control. All affected video rules have been automatically migrated to the new tab, with no impact on ad serving. To learn more, visit Programmatic inventory rules for formats.
Target CPM (tCPM) support for per-bidder pricing rules
Rolling out this week, publishers now have the ability to set Target CPM (tCPM) floor pricing for specific programmatic bidders in pricing rules. Previously, only hard floor pricing was supported in per-bidder pricing rules.
Manage network settings
Buyer Direct open beta
All Ad Manager publishers can now enable Buyer Direct in their network through the advanced features tab. Learn more about Buyer Direct.
Other product or Help Center updates
Updated commonly used set of ad technology partners
The set of commonly used ad technology partners was updated on July 16, 2026. The list reflects the partners that work most closely with publishers globally, determined by data collected from all programmatic demand sources, and meeting our privacy standards.
You can find the up-to-date version of the list published at Manage your ad technology partners (ATPs), and you can view the controls and the list of ad technology partners in your account under "Privacy & messaging," on the "European regulations" settings page.
If you’d like to prevent future automatic updates, you can navigate to "Your ad partners" and select "Do not automatically include commonly used ad partners." This will create a custom list pre-filled with your current selections, which you can then modify as needed.
Coming soon
Reminder: Deprecation of Reports tool
The legacy Reports tool will soon be removed from the Ad Manager interface. Make sure you’ve fully migrated all saved reports to Interactive reports.
Enhanced Reach reporting for all network inventory
Reach reports will provide a comprehensive view of your audience by including programmatic demand. Currently limited to reservation traffic, unique visitor data will encompass Ad Exchange and AdSense inventory across your entire network. Learn more about Reach reports.
Ad podding for mobile app inventory
Ad Manager is launching ad podding, a new optimization designed to increase competition and drive higher revenue for your mobile app inventory. This feature allows multiple ads to be combined and compete collectively for a single ad placement. By default, ad podding will be automatically enabled for all inventory where High Engagement Ads are currently active. Publishers have the flexibility to manage these preferences for specific segments of their inventory at any time by navigating to "Inventory," then "Inventory rules," then "Format settings." Learn more about Ad podding.
