Respond to a suspicious account recovery request

If you didn’t request a password reset, follow these steps to help secure your account.

Deny the password reset request

1. Go to the email from Google with the subject line, "Password reset requested for your Google Account."
2. Open the email and follow the steps to deny the password reset request.

No further action is needed.
