Unable to login to my old account 0 Recommended Answers 1 Reply 4 Upvotes
The email ID in question is an old one but is however linked to my twitter and Facebook. The number linked to the email ID is an old one and I do not have that with me. Gmail asks for a verification code sent on that number which I do not have access to. The security question also does not help since the account is really old and I do not remember what I had inputted as the name of my first teacher. Please help me recover this accout

With no working recovery options configured (e-mail, phone), it will probably be impossible to prove ownership of the account.
The only account recovery option Google provides starts at https://accounts.google.com/signin/recovery (accounts can not be recovered through this user-to-user forum, and Google does not provide live support for account recovery). Assuming you posted here because account recovery isn’t working, providing more accurate answers and using a known device/location/IP-address will help. You also need to read the following resources:
- https://support.google.com/accounts/thread/2307038 - provides a brief overview of the process and sets expectations (not all accounts can be recovered).
- http://gmailaccountrecovery.blogspot.com/ - a detailed description of the account recovery process that covers most any question one might have (be sure to read the “Let’s Be Realistic” section).
Unfortunately, Google does not provide any escalation or review options for account recovery. If you are unable to prove ownership using the provided recovery process (plus the information in the above linked articles) then the account is lost. There are no other options. Starting a new thread will not help either. Sorry.
